JK: Age 3 - 4 This is an academic grade and children are expected to achieve levels of competencies before leaving for the next grade. There is an opportunity for parents to meet the teachers at parent night and also at curriculum night. Report cards are sent home the same time as other schools. The children enjoy the leveled readers program and bring home books to read with their families. There is always a well rounded curriculum involving our community at large and our home community. The planning continues to reflect areas of development, group time, creative, gross and fine motor as well as language and math. We promote good health and exercise during our outdoor play as teachers plan activities other than the structures that are always available to the children.
